The Laird MB8P vehicle roof mount antenna installation hardware kit is for Motorola-style mobile antennas, 0 – 1000 MHz. This NMO mount is a brass permanent mount for a 3/4 in hole. The Laird Technologies mobile antenna mount includes 17 ft of RG-58A/U cable and crimp-on PL259 connector uninstalled. Thread size is 1 1/8 in-18.

Installation of the mount was easy (trunk mounted on a sedan). Running the cable under trim and into the console went fine; I'm very glad this has 17' of cable because I needed every inch of it. The PL259 connector provided with the mount was a huge pain - the screw-in ferrule/adapter is not a common approach, and it took a lot of "research" (Googling and watching a dozen videos) before I found steps on how to install this ferrule type. Some simple instructions in the bag would be incredibly helpful for a newbie like me.
