Comet CA-2x4SR

Fantastic performing antenna. Not too much wind load at highway speeds but it's best to use a permanent mount or at least a 5" magnet mount. A Comet rep told me that the little whirlygig in the center is a decorative feature which was a bit entertaining to hear. I would recommend the optional spring which replaces the bottom-most antenna segment as this tall boy may make physical contact with a low hanging branch or two. Price and service at The Antenna Farm coupled with the nice performance of this antenna should make the decision easy for anyone needing good dual band gain and a smooth purchase transaction.
