The Ripley Miller 81460 MSAT Micro Fiber Optic Mid-Span Access Tool accommodates interchangeable inserts from 1.3 mm up to 1.8 mm. It features easy access to the fiber, without any damage, by precision "shaving" of the buffer tube wall. No adjustment to tool insert or blade is required. The double-sided blade has twice the blade life. With the locking lever mechanism, providing constant pressure to the two body halves, the shaving operation is precise and consistent.

The Ripley Miller 81460 MSAT is a compact tool that measures 2.88 x 1.63 x 1.50 in. (73 x 41 x 38 mm). The weight is 6.6 oz (187 g).
