Commscope F075BKS3

The Andrew F075BKS3 is a FlexTwist® flexible and twistable rectangular waveguide assembly designed for microwave transmission systems operating between 10.0 and 15.0 GHz.

This 900 mm (35.433-inch) assembly uses WR75 rectangular waveguide dimensions, also designated WG17 and R120. It features a MIL-F-3922/70-016 flange interface on one end and a PBR120 flange interface on the opposite end, providing connectivity between compatible microwave equipment and rectangular waveguide transmission components.

The FlexTwist construction permits controlled bending and twisting to accommodate antenna positioning, equipment alignment, and waveguide routing requirements. Its flexible design simplifies installations where rigid waveguide sections cannot be easily aligned and helps reduce mechanical stress between connected components.

Designed for efficient microwave signal transmission, the assembly features attenuation of 0.59 dB per meter and a VSWR of 1.10:1, helping minimize RF transmission losses and reflected power.

The assembly supports an average RF power rating of 750 watts and a peak RF power rating of 140 kW. Its mechanical design accommodates multiple bends with minimum bend radii of 64 mm in the E-plane and 115 mm in the H-plane, along with a maximum twist capability of 360 degrees per meter.

With a maximum pressurization rating of 45 psi, the assembly can be incorporated into appropriately designed pressurized microwave transmission systems.

Typical applications include point-to-point microwave communications, microwave backhaul systems, antenna feed assemblies, and equipment installations requiring flexible WR75 waveguide connections.
