The Andrew F090HHB5 is a FlexTwist® flexible and twistable rectangular waveguide assembly designed for microwave transmission systems operating between 10.7 and 11.7 GHz.
This 1200 mm (47.244-inch) assembly utilizes WR90 rectangular waveguide dimensions, also designated WG16 and R100. It features PDR100 flange interfaces on both ends, allowing connections between compatible microwave transmission equipment, antennas, and waveguide components.
The FlexTwist construction provides the ability to bend and twist the waveguide during installation, accommodating equipment misalignment, antenna positioning, and changes in waveguide orientation without requiring precisely aligned rigid sections.
Its flexible construction also helps isolate mechanical vibration between connected components and reduces installation difficulties associated with rigid waveguide systems.
Designed for 11 GHz microwave communications, the assembly provides low-loss microwave signal transmission while maintaining the mechanical flexibility needed for tower-mounted antenna installations and equipment connections.
The F090HHB5 is suitable for point-to-point microwave radio links, microwave backhaul systems, antenna feed assemblies, and other installations requiring flexible WR90 waveguide connections with matching PDR100 flanges.
