The Andrew WGB4-180 HELIAX® Cable Entry Boot is a weather-resistant rubber sealing assembly designed for routing one EW180-series elliptical waveguide through a compatible 4-inch wall or roof entrance panel.
Manufactured from durable black EPDM rubber, the WGB4-180 provides a flexible environmental seal around the waveguide, helping prevent rainwater, dust, moisture, and other contaminants from entering telecommunications equipment shelters and buildings.
The assembly includes a rubber boot and a waveguide-specific sealing cushion designed to accommodate one EW180 elliptical waveguide.
The WGB4-180 is designed for Andrew's 4-inch multiple-entry wall and roof feed-through plates. Its flexible construction allows installers to create a weather-resistant seal while accommodating normal waveguide installation tolerances.
Andrew specifies weather resistance tested according to IEC 60529 IP66 procedures and ultraviolet resistance evaluated under MIL-STD-810E testing methods.
The WGB4-180 is suitable for microwave communications sites, telecommunications towers, point-to-point microwave installations, equipment shelters, and other RF infrastructure applications requiring protected waveguide entry points.
This product includes the boot and sealing cushion only. The wall or roof entrance plate is sold separately.
