ANDREW SOLUTIONS' cable flaring tool kit is made for use with HELIAX EWP64 and EW64 elliptical waveguide cable. This cable flaring tool produces consistently accurate waveguide flares for connector and splice attachments.
This waveguide cable preparation tool kit includes both a major-axis flaring tool and a minor-axis flaring tool. Plus, this flaring tool kit comes with a saw guide and a rugged carrying case.
No special training is required to use this tool kit. Follow the easy two-step flaring technique to form the waveguide accurately. Trim the waveguide and complete the flare within 3 – 5 min. The precision with which the tools form the flare ensure a contact face free of shaves, compressions, or abrasions.
