Andrew 245314-63 HELIAX® Single Entrance Panel Assembly for EW63 Elliptical Waveguide, 4-Inch Port, Aluminum Panel with EPDM Rubber Boot
The Andrew 245314-63 is a single-port waveguide entrance panel assembly designed to provide a weather-resistant passage for HELIAX® EW63 elliptical waveguide entering telecommunications equipment shelters, buildings, and microwave communications enclosures.
The assembly features a gray aluminum entrance panel with a 4-inch (101.6 mm) entry port, together with a black EPDM rubber boot and matching cushion designed to accommodate one EW63 elliptical waveguide.
The rigid aluminum entrance panel provides a mounting surface for wall or roof penetrations, while the flexible EPDM rubber boot seals around the waveguide to help prevent moisture, dust, and other environmental contaminants from entering the enclosure.
Designed for EW63 elliptical waveguide, the assembly is associated with WR137 / WG14 / R70 rectangular waveguide sizes commonly used in microwave communications systems operating in the 6 GHz frequency band.
The complete assembly includes two primary manufacturer components:

The included aluminum mounting panel measures 7 × 7 inches, providing a mounting surface surrounding the entry opening.
Andrew identifies weather-resistance testing in accordance with IEC 60529:2001 IP66 for the individual panel and rubber boot components. Actual weather protection depends on correct installation and sealing of the completed wall or roof penetration.
The 245314-63 is suitable for microwave backhaul systems, telecommunications equipment shelters, point-to-point radio installations, and other applications requiring a dedicated EW63 waveguide entry point.
Manufacturer packaging contains one complete entrance panel assembly, including the aluminum plate and corresponding rubber boot. The waveguide itself is not included.
