Andrew E20MP-014 HELIAX® EW20 Elliptical Waveguide Connector, 7/8-Inch EIA Flange, Without Gas Barrier

The Andrew E20MP-014 is a specialized elliptical waveguide-to-coaxial connector designed to interface HELIAX® EW20 elliptical waveguide transmission lines with equipment utilizing a standard 7/8-inch EIA coaxial flange connection.

Designed for microwave transmission systems, the E20MP-014 provides a transition between EW20 elliptical waveguide and coaxial transmission equipment.

The connector is compatible with EW20-25 waveguide operating from 2.5 to 2.7 GHz and EW20-21W waveguide operating from 2.1 to 2.7 GHz.

Unlike the E20MB-014 version, the E20MP-014 does not incorporate an internal gas barrier. This distinction is important when designing pressurized waveguide systems, because the connector does not independently seal the waveguide's internal gas pressure from connected equipment.

Constructed from nickel-plated aluminum, the connector provides corrosion-resistant construction suitable for microwave telecommunications applications.

Andrew's historical technical catalog specifies a peak power rating of 90 kW at 2.6 GHz for EW20 waveguide systems equipped with E20MP-014 connectors.

The E20MP-014 is suitable for point-to-point microwave communications, antenna feed systems, and telecommunications infrastructure requiring an EW20 elliptical waveguide-to-7/8-inch EIA transition.

The connector is a passive microwave component and does not amplify signals or convert operating frequencies.
