The Andrew F187HHS2 is a 600 mm (23.62-inch) flexible, twistable rectangular waveguide designed for microwave communication systems operating between 3.95 and 5.85 GHz.
Part of Andrew's FlexTwist series, it provides a microwave transmission connection while allowing controlled bending and twisting during installation.
The assembly features WR187 rectangular waveguide with PDR48 flanges on both ends.
Its flexible construction helps accommodate equipment misalignment, vibration, and installation constraints. It also helps isolate vibration between microwave equipment and antenna feed systems.
Typical applications include point-to-point microwave radio links, telecommunications towers, microwave backhaul systems, and microwave antenna feed installations.
Unlike coaxial cable, this component transmits microwave energy through a hollow metallic waveguide rather than a center conductor.
