The Andrew 112615-140 is a low-profile, RAM (radar-absorbing material) termination load designed for microwave antennas operating in the 14 GHz band.
Its primary function is to absorb microwave energy at an unused waveguide port, reducing reflections that could affect antenna performance.
Andrew specifically recommends termination loads when one polarization port of a dual-polarized antenna is unused. The 112615-140 is intended for WR62 waveguide systems with PBR140 flanges, including compatible ValuLine microwave antennas.
The low-profile design accommodates installations where a conventional termination load might be too bulky. Andrew specifies a return loss of 10 dB or better.
