The Andrew VFEEDA-4-15 is a replacement microwave antenna feedhorn assembly designed for compatible 4-foot (1.2-meter) ValuLine parabolic dish antennas operating in the 15 GHz frequency band.
The feedhorn is the component responsible for directing microwave energy between the antenna's waveguide feed system and its parabolic reflector. During transmission, it illuminates the reflector; during reception, it collects microwave energy focused by the reflector.
This replacement assembly is intended for servicing existing microwave dish antennas without replacing the entire reflector and mounting structure.
Typical applications include point-to-point microwave radio links, telecommunications backhaul networks, and commercial microwave antenna maintenance.
