The Andrew WGB5-37 is a 5-inch weather-resistant rubber cable entry boot assembly specifically designed for Andrew HELIAX EW37 elliptical waveguide.
It is used to seal the opening where an EW37 waveguide enters a communications shelter or equipment building through a compatible wall or roof entrance panel.
The assembly consists of a black EPDM rubber boot and a single-opening cushion that fits around the waveguide, helping prevent moisture, dust, and other contaminants from entering the building.
The manufacturer specifies IP66 weather-resistance testing and UV-resistance testing for outdoor telecommunications installations.
