A German-founded wireless infrastructure manufacturer established in 1900 in Hannover, Germany, by Louis Hackethal as Hackethal Wire Company. RFS (Radio Frequency Systems) was formally created in 1983 through the merger of multiple companies across Germany, USA, Brazil, and France. Headquartered in Hannover with major operations in Suzhou, China, RFS designs and manufactures cables, connectors, antennas, and RF conditioning products for telecommunications, broadcast, and wireless infrastructure. In 2024, Nokia sold RFS cable operations to YOFC while Amphenol acquired the North American cable business and global base station antenna business (2023).
